About

History

Title One, Inc. was founded in 1993, by Kevin Shoell and Doug Back, with the vision that we could bring together the best people, the best service and the best technology and by so doing, bring an exceptional closing experience for our customers.

Today, we believe we have the best people, the best service and the best technology.  We are really proud and grateful to our staff for the care they give to each and every client.

We pledge to continue to improve as the industry changes.  We are grateful to all of our clients past, present and future.  Let us know if there is anything we can do to make your closing experience better.

Underwriter Information

Title One is an independent and locally owned Title Insurance Agency. We believe we have the two best underwriters in the nation.  Most clients never see the value a competent underwriter brings to the closing transaction.  We consider both underwriters invaluable to our operation.

Stewart Title Guaranty Company.  In 1994, we began business with one underwriter, Stewart Title Guarantee Company.  Through the years we have continued to be impressed with the integrity and responsiveness of the regional and national support staff at Stewart Title.

First American Title Company.  In 2000, we added First American Title Company as a second underwriter.  At the time we didn't realize the value a second opinion would bring to our clients.  The staff at First American has also been great to work with.

Professionals in the real estate market, as well as the home-buying public, benefit considerably from the commitment to excellence that is routine in the work of ALTA members. Involvement by a title company is often thought of as the catalyst that allows a real estate closing to proceed smoothly until completed.
